Kim Kardashian Has Successfully Funded #FreedomInitiatives This Year

Everyone's favorite reality celebrity is quietly doing some great philanthropic work through her funding initiatives.

The Calabasas Californian beauty has been putting her money where her mouth is and providing funding to two major incarceration projects, Buried Alive and the Decarceration Collective.

Both collectives, run by women of color, one being Kardashian's personal attorney, Brittany K. Barnett, are focused on utilizing legal resources and social pressure to free wrongfully imprisoned Americans in the United States.

CNN and TMZ report that thanks specifically to Kardashian's funding, 17 formerally incarcerated Americans have been released from wrongful incarceration.

We couldn't be more thankful for celebrities who use their resources, networks and social media powers to push for change in our society!
